Elna Leonardo specializes in Intuitive Bodywork.
Elna’s nickname ‘Zen Zen’ aptly portrays her simple & profoundly deep nature. She also has quite an adventurous Spirit. She followed the sun & became an LA transplant from the DC area in 1999. She immediately immersed herself through rounds of personal growth courses including Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Training at Yoga West & Shiatsu Massage School of California. The moment she practiced on a classmate the very first night in Shiatsu School, she got an intuitive hit to journey through a new vocational path. In 2001, she made the bold transition into the Healing Arts from a successful Computer Security Consulting Career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC); actualizing the phrase ‘High Tech to High Touch’.
Elna has studied with renowned Masters in the US, Bali, Thailand, & Italy. She continually deepens her capacity for Empathy & Compassion through ongoing studies & evolutions of her personal Healing Journey. Elna proudly holds a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica (USM). Elna truly embodies the ‘Healer, heal thy Self’ fundamental Law of Healing.
Besides healing her own chronic & acute manifestations of pain from the norms of living, Elna has traversed through three remarkable Healing Journeys. In 2001, she healed classic symptoms of distressing pain induced by a Pinched Nerve in her Neck; tingling & numbing sensations traveling down her Left Arm into her Thumb & Index Finger. By moving forward along a path of Holistic Healing, Elna was able to steer away from the ordeals of Cervical Surgery. While Elna reached out for complementary Healing Modalities and Cleansing, she also attended to the underlying Emotions that the Pain was calling her to face.
In 2004, Elna naturally lifted herself from the downward spiraling effects of Depression with the support of Holistic Healers & without the use of Anti-Depressants. She courageously looked upon Depression as a Healing Journey & an Energetically uplifting opportunity to shed Emotional layers of her pained Ego for the Authentic revelation of her Soul.
Then in 2010, she healed the uncomfortable & bothersome effects of Eczema on her own. After unsuccessful rounds with various Holistic Healers & Herbs, as well as Dermatologists & their Internal & Topical remedies, she took matters into her own hands. Elna realized that the key to healing Eczema was essentially held in reinstating Digestive Health & Intestinal Flora through Nutrition & Probiotic supplementation. Through intensive & focused research, Elna designed her own Healing Program by embracing the disciplined regimens of a Candida Cleanse; that also worked to re-establish Balance & Harmony in her Core; & to this day is now a way of life for her.
Before taking Intuitive Bodywork as an entirely Mobile Business, Elna’s work experience spanned the luxurious comforts of Fred Segal Beauty, to the soothing aura of a Wellness Center & the upbeat vibes of an Athletic Facility.
Cumulative experiences & lessons have guided her to lead a wonderful Heart-centered lifestyle that encompasses all dimensions of Being (Spiritual, Emotional, Mental, & Physical), as well as an integrated embodiment of Yin & Yang Energies. In aligning herself with this theme, Elna keeps her Body clear of Gluten & Sugar.
Outside of the work arena, Elna enjoys the ‘Zoom Zoom’ in her Partner, playing with her 4-legged Daughter, Family & Friends, Kundalini | Yin Style Yoga, Meditation | Chanting, Anatomy Drawing, Calligraphy, Cycling, Tennis, Skydiving, Anime & Manga, Gadgets, Espresso, Healthy Gourmet Cuisine, Worldly Travels, & Stock Investing.
